Hi
I did not find any other way of contacting you through your blog, but I found the posts interesting and would like to ask you some questions related to transport planning in Chennai. It would be good if you could tell me if you will be able to help me. I am a student and anything I source from you will be for academic purposes only. Do let me know your email address if it is alright to write to you. I shall check back on the comments for a reply.
Thanks.

Hello Shruti,

ROAD SENSE CHENNAI is a group in LINKEDIN. This is one of the few groups, which don't want to just to depict the problems, but join hands to find solutions. This group cannot be content with any accomplishment it may make, as the problem is too huge to grapple with. Roads kill people, roads have become unusable to walk on, roads have become easy targets for encroachments, roads are bursting out with alarming rate of traffic growth, etc., etc.

Pl visit ROAD SENSE CHENNAI in LINKEDIN. www.linkedin.com
If you don't have your profile in this network, you may have to create one, so that you get the access to ROAD SENSE CHENNAI group.

As of now, we are assembling the people and working out the common minimum program. We are trying to launch this group on Aug.15th.

Women don't participate in these kind of activities, whereas it is their interests too that this group has to be bothered about. I wonder if you can become a member of this group and work out ways and means to make more women as members.

Your comments will reach me. Do please reply.

Cheers!

Govind Srinivasan
